GOD'S MYSTERY GAME

People think
that serving the Lord is drudgery
and hardship and abstinence, and "Oh no, having to pray", having to
"read the Bible", and whatever.
That’s not it. It’s loving Jesus, and just letting Him lead and guide
our
lives. And that's like a mystery. It’s kind of like a computer game,
where
maybe you go a little way, and then you say "Oh oh I'm lost, I don’t
know
what to do, I need a clue now.” So you stop, you get a clue or a clue,
and
continue the game.
Likewise, when you get lost in life, you seek the Lord. You get a
promise from
Him, or a verse or something, and He says, “go that way!” So you go
that way,
and then, “Oh wow, look what happened, look what we found!” He reveals
the
answer, or the solution to our problem!
Serving the Lord is like an adventure, with Him showing us the path of
life
each step of the way. And there are little treasures along the way,
rewards and
things. It’s like a big puzzle. Like we're detectives with our
magnifying
glasses looking for the path, looking for clues.
Yes, the Lord loves a mystery. I think He likes to see us trying to
figure
things out, and seeking Him for His guidance and His leadings. He IS
there
throughout our lives. He is just waiting for us to yield to His love,
and obey.
