When
I look around at creation, I can't help but realize God is all around
us.
I
was talking to a friend yesterday who said God doesn't exist,
because if He
did, so many bad things wouldn't have happened in her life.
I said, "You know, bad things are not a result of God's punishment or
rough handling of us. They're just a result of our choices." People
give
too much merit to God in the bad way. They blame Him for everything.
Someday we are going to see that everything bad that happened wasn't
God's
fault... it was just a result of our own choices. That's what we were
put here
for, to make choices. To choose, everyday... small things... big
things... we
can choose the good, or the bad.
When we realize that, we'll see that God is there for us. He'll help us
if we
just call to Him and ask for help. He's our friend, we just need to
talk to Him
like that, as a friend.
