TIME AND
PRIORITIES

Hi
there. I have a
poem I wanted to share with you called,
“The Clock of Life”. It goes like this:
The
clock of life is wound but once,
And no man has the power,
To tell just when the hands will stop,
At late or early hour.
Now is
the only time you own.
Live, love, toil with a will.
Place no faith in time.
For the clock may soon be still.
That’s a
rather sobering thought, to know that no matter what
happens the clock just keeps on ticking away. It doesn’t stop for you
or me.
Someone once said that time is
a thief you cannot banish.
And
here’s another poem that I wanted to share. It says:
Time is
too slow for those who wait,
Too swift for those who fear,
Too long for those who grieve,
Too short for those who rejoice.
But for those who love time is eternity.
So for
those who are walking in love and choosing to do
things the loving and kind way every day when faced between doing
things the
right way or doing things the loving way, then they are living in
eternity.
They are doing what Jesus commanded us to do which is to love Him and
love our
neighbor.
And like
the Bible says, “He that loveth not knoweth not
God.” Whenever we choose to be loving to the people around us, then we
are
loving God. So we are not wasting time when we choose to do things the
loving
way, the kind way. Be kind today.
