SPACED OUT!

Psalms 19:1
says, “The heavens declare the glory
of God.”
Space is out there and is a never ending, eternal testimony of God's
greatness.
You know they say this star, or that planet, or galaxy or whatever is a
million
light years away, or a billion. Astronomical numbers and distances so
big that
I have a hard time even wrapping my brain around them!
It must be cool to be able to look into the universe through one of
those big
telescopes.
I believe the only reason space exists is because God intended it to
show us His
incredibly awesome magnificence.
I mean, when you only begin to grasp its size, when you only start to
have the
most minimal sense of the vastness and enormity of space, that isn't
even a
drop in the bucket of what's really out there. It is so incredibly
beyond our
grasp and our comprehension.
And that's really what God intended.
It's there as simply a picture for us to grasp the unfathomable
vastness and
greatness of God Himself. As He also said in Psalm 19, the whole
creation is
there to glorify HIM.
So, when I look up at the stars, and at the moon, I praise the Lord for
His
never ending mercy, love, wisdom and might.
