Do
it now! We hear that often. And it's true, ---"now" is the only
time we own. The Kingdom
of God is within
you,
Jesus said. The eternal "now". Do it now.
"Now" is the only
time we have power over, and it’s the only time we can control. Most of
life's
problems come from regrets over the past, or fear of the future and
God's Word
commands us to have neither. We have no power over the past. What's
done is
done. We can't do anything about it, and dwelling on it a lot under the
guise
of learning from it, analyzing it, will just get us on a bummer.
And fear over
the future is equally ridiculous, and God's Word prohibits us to do
that too.
Jesus said, “Fret not thyself for tomorrow.” He said don't worry about
tomorrow. When tomorrow comes it will be "now" and we do have power
over it then.
So grab hold of "now". Here it comes. "Now".
There you go. Right now. Oh no, there it went. Here it comes again!
"Now"..... Now's the time. Do it now. Oh! ---there it went. Now here
it comes again, Now! Oh-oh, there it went. Boy you gotta grab it fast!
Here it
comes. Zhoom, there it goes again. Zhoom, here it comes.
Now's the time. Now's
the only time you own.
There's a poem I read once. Apparently the author is
unknown and it goes something like this:
The clock of
life is wound but once,
And no man has
the power,
To tell just
when the hands will stop,
At late or
early hour
"Now"
is the only time you own,
Live, love,
---toil with a will.
Place no faith
in time,
For the clock
may soon be still.
"Now" is the only time we own. Live
now!
