HE'S WAITING FOR YOU!
SOH
Productions
Little kids
love to imitate their parents. They
like to pretend they are older, all grown up. Kids make believe a lot.
They see
people and things around them and they imitate them. That’s how they
learn.
If
they are surrounded by love and understanding, they become loving and
understanding. If they are surrounded by violence and intolerance they
become
violent and intolerant also.
I think this doesn't end in childhood. I believe
that violence on television, violence in computer games and music, is
numbing
not only our children but everyone else who sees them, to the pain
&
suffering in the real world. These graphic extreme scenes of crudeness
do have
an effect because what we take in all day with our eyes and minds does
affect
us.
ANYthing we do on a regular basis actually becomes a part of us. The
things
we repeatedly do, day in and day out, become habits. Little by little
we become
like them! I believe we are all, over time, becoming the sum total of
what we
read, what we see, what we listen to, and even who we talk to and
associate
with.
If we want to see a better world, we, individually have to start MAKING
it, --- by filling OURSELVES up, with the things we want this world to
be. What
we take in, we will give out. Whether it be for good or for evil. The
choice is
up to us.
God bless you with HIS love for others. Only He can do it, but He is
waiting for you.
