VICTIMS? --OR CREATORS?

WWhen you’re
inspired about something you get
excited, you get stirred up, enthusiastic. It's a good feeling.... It's
nice.
But when you are not feeling that way, that’s precisely when you’ve got
to stir
yourself up all the more. If not, little by little you'll just float
along. You’ll
just coast and get yourself on a bummer.
That’s where a lot of people are at
today. They go through their routine monotonous job. People are
whining. People
are complaining. When the fact of the matter is, God’s just waiting on
them to
get up and do something.
Apathy seems to be the major trait in so many people nowadays. It
really is sad
that many people sell themselves short and miss out on so much in life.
It has been said that we are either victims of our circumstances or
creators.
We have to motivate ourselves. The solution is to do something
positive. God
does help those that help themselves.
You cannot build passively. The verb to
build is by definition an active event, an active endeavor. So whether
it be a
relationship, or whether it be to have a better life, whether you want
to make
money, be successful at work, or in your love life.... to build...
you’ve got
to get active.
Don't wait for things to happen. Make them happen!
Someone very wise once said: You are creating your eternal destiny
right now,
this minute! And that's right. God's only time is now. “Now is the
accepted
time.” So, get off your butts, do something positive, something
constructive
and proactive... Lord help us to be creators of our circumstances, not
victims.
